MACHINE LEARNING WORK EXPERIENCE

GAPRO, Paris, France Data Science Internship (Sep - Dec 2017)

During my internship at GAPRO, I focused on data acquisition using Python Scrapy to gather information from the internet. I built an automated fashion taxonomy and employed Natural Language Processing (NLP) techniques, utilizing tools such as Airflow and AWS S3 to manage and streamline data processes.

MACHINE LEARNING ACADEMIC PROJECTS (MSc)

In my academic projects, I predicted potential donors for a mailing campaign for an NGO using R and Tableau. I built classification models and evaluated their performance, utilizing Logistic Regression, Random Forest, and Support Vector Classifier (SVC) to select the best-performing model. Additionally, I was the winner of the Leroy Merlin Hackathon challenge, where I predicted products that should be displayed prominently, applying similar classification models.

MACHINE LEARNING ACADEMIC PROJECTS (Simplilearn)

I classified and clustered different cancer types using gene expressions. Techniques included clustering with K-Means and Hierarchical Clustering, along with dimensionality reduction using PCA, LDA, and t-SNE. For predicting the time a Mercedes-Benz spends on the test bench, I employed dimensionality reduction with PCA and used XGBRegressor for model building, including hyperparameter tuning. I also identified the income qualifications needed for families in Latin America through exploratory data analysis and prepared the data using Random Forest Classifier for model building, followed by cross-validation and model evaluation using classification reports and confusion matrices.
